I have been experimenting with a few designs that involve a little more thought than the regular posts you see on here. I saw a pair of maroon and brown Stan Smiths once and I have built the first design around what my memory can recall of them. The second, well….I have used brown again but brightened it up with a baby blue trim. Let me know what you think, there are more of these kind of designs ready to be posted through the day.
Here ya go people! An update of the super old and drab Squirtle design some of you may have seen knocking around a while back on my myspace page. Well, let me know what you think anyway, I think it’s an improvement!
I was going to post these two seperately but I think I can cram it all in one! Just two really simple designs, both taken from the Requests page. The first is Yoshi, a simple character design on the back of the shoe, then the colour scheme taken from the character colours. The second is again really simple, this one is of the Superman logo. I am thinking of a Superman design going from a suit to red and blue outfit, front to back, black and white to red, blue and gold!?!?
So, it is early Tuesday morning and I have had a nice Bank Holiday weekend, but as soon as those clocks struck midnight, I was back to work. Here is the first installment of three posts coming at you in quick succession. Lets begin with The Simpsons (go on sing it like they do in the theme tune), this has been requested a few times and a recent post on the Requests page urged me to carry it out. This is what I came up with, it is based on the artwork of a limited edition set of simpsons stamps released in the USA.

Well they’re finally here, the first set of Brass Monki hand crafted sneakers which many of you watched me creating over the past 2 days via LiveStream. I have also been thinking about making each design a “one-off”, which will be a single exclusive reproduction of the digital design. Again, please let me know your views by commenting on this post.

First, here’s the newest of my designs, I have a lot more ideas stored in this brain of mine, it’s just a matter of finding the time to get them on here. I promise at least one design a day from here on in. If I don’t keep to this promise, you are allowed to abuse me via the comments box!
Second, I have a new theme and logo. Let me know what you think, I’ve had a mixed reaction to it up to now but I have gone with my gut instinct that this is the logo that will launch Brass Monki into a new and exciting future. Am I right? Let me know in the box below!

I LOVEEEEEE Castle Crashers and the artwork is so cool and simple, I am currently working on a Castle Crashers Qee design…that’s how much I love it! So, after a recent request, I have designed a pair of trainers around it. The bright colours seem to work and I think I may make a pair of these for myself to go with the Qee!

Whilst there has been a lot of interest and hype concerning my designs, at the end of the day, there is only me here, so I am limited to what I can physically produce in the limited time available to me. I know lots of you out there would love to own a pair of my designs, so tonight we are going to make that fantasy reality for one of my lucky followers.

Tonight, for some fortunate individual, I propose to convert the digital image of my work into a bespoke piece of original artwork which will be totally unique, as it will be the first pair of Brass Monki customized sneakers ever to carry my very own personal signature. Judging by the demand for my work, these could probably sell for double on ebay by the time you receive them!
Bidding will run this evening for 3 hours from 21.00 hrs to midnight, UK time. The highest bidder will receive ANY pair of customized sneakers that they choose to select from the extensive portfolio shown on my blog.
HOW DO I BID?

As everyone using the blog can see the bids, it will be clear to everyone who the winner is and what the winning bid is. Just to make it clear, the winning bid will be the highest amount received before midnight tonight.
