Hi all, my name is Daniel Reese and I am Mr. Brass Monki! I am 22 years of age, and come from Merseyside in the UK, which is not far from Liverpool for those of you unfamiliar with the UK. I decided to launch Brass Monki in June 2009 to serve as an outlet for my passion of design, sneakers and the world of pop culture.

What started out as something of a casual past time is turning into a full-time career. I enjoy taking pop culture images and using software to manipulate the images to appear on a piece of footwear shown on Brass Monki. Strangely enough many of you out there also enjoy seeing these creations. I then took it a stage further! For those of you who wanted to own a one-off, bespoke, hand painted pair of Brass Monki sneakers, I then took brush to leather! I enjoy seeing the designs come to life on a piece of footwear and I quite often stream my working live for those of you interested enough to follow what I do (Click HERE to watch now).

Recently, demand has increased and Brass Monki has quickly become a successful small business since beginning to trade just over a year ago. Our new website is a step forward and we hope it gives you an idea of how we run our business and what we represent.
